Jo has lived in New Zealand for more than 20 years and is mum to two beautiful children.
Always keen to make new connections, Jo founded GrandFriends – a charity that works to connect families and older people for mutual support.
She is also responsible for bringing Chatty Café to New Zealand.
Anna is a mum of two and works in operations and relationship management.
She enjoys seeing people connect through initiatives like Chatty Café.
Anna helps to keep the Chatty Café scheme running smoothly and coordinates our venues and volunteers.
Arwen is a mum of one and has spent decades working in communications and journalism online and in print.
She enjoys telling stories and connecting people.
Arwen helps to share the stories of Chatty Café venues, volunteers and participants.
We are looking for an amazing team of Chatty Volunteers throughout New Zealand
We need committed and energetic volunteers who will be the core of our Scheme. They will provide support to the venues as requested, to introduce the concept of Chatty Café to the local community by sitting at “Have a Chat” tables when venues first join up, and act as an “icebreaker” when customers join the Chatty table.
